About Organic Farming

On our organic farm you can see a balanced system based on a mix of crops, grassland and livestock. This rotation is designed to build soil nutrients and control weeds and diseases, while avoiding fertilisers and chemical pesticides. The needs of wildlife and landscape conservation have also been integrated alongside the business of producing safe, healthy and tasty food. Like other organic farmers my land and records are inspected every year by the Soil Association to check we comply with organic standards. Food quality, sustainability and the environment are very important to us. That's why we have been involved in organic farming for over 5 years. At Caerhys Farm we put a lot of effort into growing produce to these high standards and we are glad that people like you are interested in the quality and healthfullness of the food we produce.
